Piotique is a tradition of Clay Center. It is held each year on the last Saturday of September. The word Piotique comes from the words Pioneer and Antique smooshed together. There is a lot to do during Piotique. This year Theodore (Teddy) Roosevelt is coming to town!! The Court House Square is full of different activities like vendors, food, crafts, and bouncy castle. There is a parade a 2pm that runs from the nearby pool all the way through the downtown. In the morning there is the Mark A. Chapman 2 mile fun run as well as a 5k. Friday night is Cruise Night, where you can see old cars driving all around town.
